Help set the course forward!
Join Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles for an inspiring evening as we honor a pioneer of the Alzheimer’s/dementia awareness movement.
Dr. María Aranda, PhD, MSW, MPA, LCSW, is an Associate Professor at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and the Executive Director of the USC Edward R. Roybal Institute on Aging. Her research focuses on psychosocial interventions for adults with health, cognitive, and psychiatric disorders and has been crucial in establishing the need for greater awareness and education among the Latino community. She developed the first Spanish-language support group for families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
