Postdoctoral Scholar

Francisca Rodriguez is a postdoctoral scholar at the USC Edward R. Roybal Institute on Aging. Her research examines how psychosocial factors and mental health influence cognitive health and the development of dementia. Before joining USC, she was a visiting researcher at the World Health Organization in Switzerland where she conducted statistical data analyses of large multi-country datasets. She earned her doctorate in Social Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Public Health from Leipzig University in Germany and worked with the LIFE-Adult-Study, the Leipzig Longitudinal Study of the Aged (LEILA 75+), and the AgeCoDe-Study, all population-based cohort studies on the epidemiology of dementia.
