Project Assistant

Rene Maldonado serves as a Project Assistant at the USC Edward R. Roybal Institute on Aging. Previously, Maldonado served as Data Analyst at the Center for Equity Promotion at the University of Oregon, where he oversaw the data management of several major projects. He specializes in community participatory research in health and education equity in underserved populations. Maldonado earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from Pacific Union College, a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University, and a Master’s degree in Prevention Science from the University of Oregon. He is passionate about working for and telling the stories of underserved populations and is preparing himself to pursue his doctorate degree in the near future.
