Chaejeong Lee (she/her) is currently a doctoral student at the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work at the University of Southern California. She is interested in exploring the challenges of transitioning to older adulthood, with a particular focus on technological approaches that enhance social connectivity for older adults, especially solo agers. Additionally, she examines the role of self-efficacy in healthy aging. Prior to joining USC, she received her master’s degree in Social Work at University of Washington, Seattle, and bachelor’s degrees in Social Welfare and Psychology at Yonsei University, Seoul in South Korea. She is a licensed mental health social worker and a licensed general social worker in South Korea, having completed training at Taiwha Fountainhouse where she worked with people with severe mental illness based on the clubhouse model.
