LatinosAgainstAlzheimer’s and the USC Edward R. Roybal Institute on Aging held an online briefing on a new report, Alzheimer’s and Latinos: New Numbers Behind the Crisis, which provides new projections about the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on U.S. Latinos. The disease is expected to increase exponentially among this population in the coming decades, costing the Latino community and the nation trillions of dollars, unless a medical breakthrough to cure or slow progression of the disease is found.
